Agreement

By creating an account or using any madsio service, you agree to these terms. madsio is operated by Dinomads Group. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the service — but we'd love to hear your concerns at [email protected].

The Service

madsio provides AI-powered language companioning through personalized conversations, pronunciation feedback, vocabulary tracking, and interactive games. Your companion is an AI — a very good one — but not a human. The companioning is designed to supplement, not replace, formal language education.

We do our best to provide accurate language instruction, but language is alive and variable. Regional expressions, slang, and evolving usage may differ from what your companion teaches. Use your best judgment in real-world situations.

Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person — please don't share your account or companion with others (your companion adapts specifically to you, and it would confuse them).

You must be at least 16 years old to use madsio. If you're between 16 and 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms.

Plans & Pricing

Additional languages cost a one-time $3 each. Voice packs (60 extra minutes) are $4.99 each. All prices are in USD.

Billing & Cancellation

Monthly subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel anytime from your console — your access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for unused time within a billing cycle.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing with at least 30 days notice via email. Existing subscribers keep their current rate for the remainder of their billing cycle.

All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Billing appears as "Stripe for Dinomads" on your statement.

Free Trial

New users get a 15-minute free conversation with any companion. The trial is fully functional — real AI, real pronunciation scoring, real vocabulary tracking. No credit card required. Trial data is retained for 30 days; signing up transfers your trial progress to your account.

Acceptable Use

Use madsio for its intended purpose: learning languages. Don't use the service to generate harmful content, attempt to extract system prompts or manipulate companions into non-educational conversations, resell access, or overload our infrastructure with automated requests.

Your companion is designed to be patient and encouraging, but please be respectful. Abusive or harassing conversations may result in account suspension.

Intellectual Property

The madsio platform, companion characters, teaching methodologies, visual design, and brand assets are owned by Dinomads Group. Your conversation content and vocabulary data belong to you — you can export them anytime.

You may share your progress publicly (screenshots, social media) but may not reproduce our companion characters, teaching methods, or brand elements without permission.

Limitation of Liability

madsio is provided "as is." We do our best to keep the service running and the teaching accurate, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access or perfect language instruction. We're not liable for outcomes in real-world language situations based on our companioning.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

Account Termination

You can delete your account from your console at any time. There's a 7-day grace period during which you can reverse the decision. After that, deletion is permanent — all data including conversation history, vocabulary, and progress is irreversibly removed.

We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice except in cases of egregious abuse.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms as our service evolves. Material changes are communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable international commerce standards. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith communication first, and binding arbitration if necessary.
